My great-grandfather Patrick Edward Connelly came from the Galway area ( specifially Tuam) around 1860 though that date is uncertain. His father was named Michael. Michael's family traveled to Tombstone Arizona then on to Bellingham. They were miners and Patrick is rumored to have made a lot of money and lost it more than once. One family tradition we have is the telling of Bill Bungle stories to the young ones at night. A reply is always appreciated. I live in a small town called Latah (220 people) and am part of a large family here in the Northwest. Michael's family landed in Philidelphia we think.
