I am requesting any information regarding possible connections/similarities tying to the family of John M Connelly, b Jun 14, 1837 Ireland d Aug 16,1880, Tennessee USA. He is said to have immigrated to the USA when he was 17 from the Galway area of Ireland and possibly have carried a brother/relative with him by the name of Mike (Michael?). Mike shortly left looking for work possibly in the North and was not heard from again. John settled in Middle Tennessee and married Mary Elisa McMinn (Not known if this marriage was in Ireland or after arrival in USA, presumed to be after) John is my gg-grandfather and I am currently deadlocked at this time with lack of any further information. John's children were Abbdon ONeal Connelly and Fred Advril Connelly, an infant William C Connelly died as an infant. There are rumors of a sister, Nora Connelly and an unknown relative, possible son..William H Connelly. Any information I can offer concerning descendants is free for the asking and further information regarding John's immediate family and ancestry would be appreciated.
