I am a decendent of John and Sarah Wilson Connelly through their son Joel Connelly. He married Effie Pennington March 20 1806 in Greyson Co, VA. They had 11 children. One of them, Edmond Riley Connelly married Rebecca Platte on Oct 24, 1850. They also had 11 children. Emery Platte Connelly married Jennie Elizabeth Evans on March 14, 1878 in Westfield, Clark IL. They had 13 children. My Grandfather married my grandmother, Jewel Kate Alexander in Dec 24 1913 in Chickasaw, Grady OK. They had 7 sons, my dad, Marvin Don Connelly was the 7th. He married Beulah Marie Hughes on June 10, 1950 in Shawnee OK, Pottawatame County. I just started doing this, but my dad has been doing genology for many years. He is seeking information on our John Connely b 1744 in Armagh, Armagh County Ireland. He has been unable to find out who his parents are, nor anything else.
