Shot Resisting Arrest
Ringgold, Montague County, Nov. 29: At 5 p.m. THOMAS CONNELLY, while resisting arrest, was seriously if not mortally shot by deputy sheriff C. WHITEHEAD. The ball entered the left side just above the hip, coming out on the opposite side. There is little hope for his recovery. Connelly resides in the Territory, just across Red River.
