I have a JohnO'Connelly, later changed to Conley, who came from PA to Burke Co., NC
about 1743, settling in the Lovejoy Ford section.
I do not have any record of your ancestor in my collection of family, but hope you may have run across some one in this line. Bet there was a connection. Many of the Conleys settled here in Macon Co.
