I don’t know if we have a connection but our Family came for Galway Ireland. What information I have is ….. My gggrandfather was Patrick Connelly (Coneely .. Conneely).. He was born in the 1800’s …. We think he had four sons. Daniel my ggrandfather … Michael and two unknown brothers. Maybe your Patrick was one of the unknown brothers or a cousin. I don’t have any information on Michael or the unknown brothers but I have a few stories on Patrick and his son Dan …. Anyway Dan lived in an area called Collinamuck, Co. Galway, but it is said that he was originally from somewhere else. We found some baptismal records for Dan’s children at the Catholic Church in Oughterard, Co. Galway. …. There is another little town about 7 miles from Collinamuck …. It is called Moycullen …. If you are doing a search of Ireland you might try these three places as there are still Connellys’ around there, very distant cousins. My mother told my that we had Connelly cousins in Pa., but she did not know any more …. The Connellys are on my fathers side. Patrick was not a sponsor on the baptismal records but the earliest baptismal record we have is 1867 and you Patrick was gone by then. I hope this information helps you and if you find more information on Patrick I would be very interested in it too.
