I'm working on a book on Connels of Georgia. My grandmother was Christan Alice Connell King of Bear Creek GA. The Connells of Bear Creek started with Revoluntary War Soildier John Connell. John and his brother Daniel and either brithers or cousins James & Jesse came to GA for Free Land biounties around 1784. Also, William Phillips came who was most likely married to John's sister. I may not be able to locate the name of the lady you are looking for but will look. My primary resource is the Ladson Genealogy Library in Vidalia GA.
Jack Ladson the owner of the library is a desendant of Bear Creek (Montgomery County GA)Connells who settled in Moultrie(Colquitt County GA. I don't have any records of
Connells from Newnan (Coweta County Ga. The Connells that I've been reshearching received land Bounties in Old Burke & Washington Counties. Daniel Connell was born in Va in 1751 approximately 70 miles south of Connellsville PA founded by Zechariah Connell who came from Maryland, who I believe was the son of James who was the son of James O'Connell 1679 of Maryland. My John and Daniel were related to these Connells but I don't have enough or the correct data to prove it. I'll assist you if you'll support me. Thanks and God Bless.
