Paula. That's interesting information. One thing though - I think James Connell was born somewhat earlier than 1720. Although the will appears to be lost, a Charles Co., MD deed recorded Nov. 12, 1745 states that John Williams made his will on April 10, 1709 so his daughter Anne was obviously born before then. It indicates that she and her brother John Williams, Jr. were still minors when their father died. John, Jr. died "before attaining his full age, leaving Ann, his sister of the whole blood in the will named, who married JAS CONNELL, party to these presents, his heir." The deed states that James & Ann Connell were of St. Mary's Co., MD.
More later,
Rhoda
