My 4GF William CONNELL born: abt 1780 in VA. wife: Ruth Terrill, born: abt. 1797 in VA. family moved to Champaign County, OH, five children in OH., then moved to Bowers Mill, Lawrence County, MO. (1850 Census, Lawrence County, MO. House 46;listed as a farmer. I do not know Williams father but, You listed a General John CONNELL born: 1760 in VA.This could be the father of William above, as William and Ruth had one son named: John CONNELL, born: abt. 1822 in OH. His wife: Francis PENNINGTON, born: abt. 1820 in TENN.
