Connell/O'connell in michigan

I have william & Julia O'connell from macroom, co. cork, Ireland. william b. abt. 1772. They had 8 children, 5 sons, 3 daughters. I only know of Julia, Daniel, John & patrick. Daniel b. dec. 21, 1804. Julia m. patrick murphy and lived in fenton michigan. they had ch. daniel and william. Julia ( wife of william) is on the 1870 census as widowed and living with her daughter julia murphy and the O is dropped from her name. Also, John spelled his name as Conal or Conol. If anyone has info on these familys please contact me. Daniel O'connell lived in deerfield twp. in livingston co. michigan.
