My great,great great grandparents came from Ireland in 1836 out of Liverpool to America. Their names were John and Ellen Connell. We are told that they were from Dublin but no proof. My great great grandfather was 5 @ the time and his name was James Thomas Connell. We are also told that they dropped the O before leaving Ireland. We may or may not have a connection. please let me know. They arrived either in Boston or New York.
