Joseph N. Connell was appointed postmaster of Nashville, Georgia on May 31, 1880 but only served for two months in the position. Is this the same Joseph N. Connell who married Malinda Peeples and who eventually moved to Florida?
The Nashville Post Office will celebrate its 150th birthday in February 2007, so I would like information about each of its former Postmasters. Any data shared would be greatly appreciated.
