My Connell line starts with an unnamed Connell who has 3 sons, unnamed Connell was a Clergyman in Ireland mid 1700's, leaves family while they are young on a trip, and never returns. My husband's tree has numerous Thomas, John, William. I read your other messages, and I am hopeful that the unnamed Connell could be a son of Simon, which could explain why he went on a trip around that time. It's a needle in the hay stack as they say!
