My ggggggrandfather was Zachariah Connell, best known for founding Connellsville, PA, but there is some reference to his family being from Virginia. His father's name was James, and his mother's name was Ann(e) Williams. Zachariah was born in the mid- to late-1700s. I have an extensive tree that might point you in a helpful direction.
