Donna. We may be researching the same Connell line. My ancestor was Jesse Connell, d. ca 1805, Hancock Co., GA. I descend from his daughter Ann Connell who m. (1) Marcus Andrews and (2) William H. Chapman (my line). My info. shows that Elizabeth "Betsy" Connell (dau. of Jesse and Penelope (Owsley) Connell) m. James Askew, Sr. and their son James Askew, Jr. m. ca. 1806, Elizabeth Simms. Do we have a match?
