Hi,

I am a descendant of George Washington Connaway, the one that died in Mississippi in the Civil War. I noticed that you were related too. I have some information all the way back to Levin Connaway. Can you supply me with anymore? My great grandmother was Mary Connaway daughter of George Washington Connaway. She married Jonathan Hardin and she was the mother of my great grand pa James Newton Hardin and died in Arkansas. There is some mystery to the paternity of James Newton, her husband was only 12 or 13 when he was born and she was like 21. One story says that the first time Jonathan laid eyes on her she was sitting in a covered wagon and they some family legend says that it was his baby. I sure would like to know. But I am interested in anything you have!

Thanks!
Susan Hannan
