I noticed in your response to another follow-up to this initial query that you mentioned your John Connaway came from Georgia. I have a John Connaway, b. 1757, who married an Elizibeth (Bettsey) Williams. They moved from Virginia to Georgia where they lived until the death of their 5th child. Bettsey died at childbirth of this child, Benjamin Connaway. John and Bettsey had 4 children prior to Benjamin, they were Pattsey, Lemuel, John (b. 1787) and Silas. John (b.1757) and at least Benjamin returned to Virginia shortly after Benjamin's birth and Bettsey's death...I'm not sure of the others. Could John (b. 1787)have remained in Georgia and be some connection to you?
