Carol,

I have a little information on Sarah, you may already have it.

Her birth date was written on the back of a letter (written to Dennis Harper Connaway from J. M. Jackson dated 1/24/1888) by her father Dennis, so the date was recorded between 1/24/1888 & 8/10/1889 when Dennis died.

Sarah and her husband John McCoy Snyder homesteaded in 1884 to Ford County Kansas, 12 miles northwest of Dodge City. In January 1886, a Post Office was established in the Snyder home, designated Snyder, Kansas. It operated until April 20, 1899.
