Anybody know anything about a Jacob Con that died about 1815 in Scott Co VA? Is Jacob Con related to the Jesse and Levi Conn in Scott? The heirs of Jacob Con show on the Scott Co VA tax records beginning 1819 when they paid back taxes for 1815-1819. 1822 tax says the Jacob Con heirs reside in TN. The property usually described as 250 A on Oppossum? Creek until at least 1825. I descend from Jesse Conn b ca 1788, moved to Morgan KY in 1840's from Scott. Have reached a dead end on Jesse Conn's ancestors and I'm on this wild goose chase to see where it leads.
