Alan, Good to hear from you! Ira and his son Jesse were both in the confederate army.Also,some Jarrell relatives served in the same unit as Ira and Jesse. My Conn line is as follows, Ira-Sylvester-Susan m.William"Big Will" Damron-Minda Damron m. Drew Sheppard.
The Damrons lived on Robinson Creek in Pike County KY. My grandmother Minda married my grandfather Drew in Mingo County W. VA.
