Do you know anything about the Beeson family?
My Conn line originates with George 1736, who came to America c 1756. He traveled along, what is now Rt 40 from Va to Md to Uniontown PA, which at that time was named Beeson Town and his guide to this area was Henry Beeson, a Quaker and blacksmith by trade. Beeson led George to an area approx 4 miles south of Uniontown, and helped him "hack out a homestead". The Conn family settled on this land and raised 10 children. I have further info if you think we may have a connection.
Peg
