As you can see from my name I have Conn in me.
I have got'n back as far as a Jimmy Dan Conn/born on Jul 12 1800 he was said to be from Kentucky. I know that he died on Aug 27, 1877 in Brighton, Ohio and buried in Greenwoood cemetary in Zanesvile,Ohio. His son John W.Conn born May 22 1845 died aug 30 1896 was married to a Sarah J Sherman / cousin to General Sherman she was the daughter of John Sherman and Mary Miller.And I belive but not sure they too were from Kentucky.
If I can be of any help let me know. I have a list of all descendants of this Jimmy Dan Conn.
