Information regarding Ell Bert Conn one of 12 or 13 children of Jesse Conn and Dutch wife. Jesse, one of five brothers (one killed in Ireland) came to Indiana from the Laugh Conn area of Ireland by way of northern Ireland where they worked for passage on a Dutch ship, married Dutch girls for free passage to America. Ell Bert born Nov. 9, 1872 in Rushville, married, wife died in childbirth, son, Viril and nurse went to Seattle, WA. While in Indiana Ell Bert was a school teacher in Milroy. In Washington, Ell Bert married Minnie Myrtle and had four more children, three boys and one girl. He died Dec. 9, 1936 in Chehalis, WA. Any information regarding relatives would be greatly appreciated. The three boys are still alive and in their 80's. The girl (my mother) died in 1974.
