Hi, Peggy! So glad to find someone researching the Conn family in Ms. I am here at the public library in Union and surfing the net for genealogy buffs. When I saw you had roots in Ms. I got excited! I don't have my research notes with me today, but I can tell you I don't have much info on my husband's line. His grandmother Hattie Breland was the daughter of Alexander and Sudie Spears CONN; Alexander and Sudie lived in Neshoba Co MS until their death. Hattie and her husband Arthur Breland lived in Union, Neshoba Co MS until their death. A family member told me Alexander Conn's father was Thomas Isaac Conn and probably lived and died in Kemper Co MS. They "think" he might have died near Sciples Mills near DeKalb MS. Do you have any information on Thomas Isaac?
I'm not allowed to use e-mail here at the Union Library; however, I do use e-mail at the Neshoba Co Library in Philidelphia MS. But lately I have not been able to access it there, for some reason. So my son who lives in Ga. is going to try to see if he can access it.
