Lorraine - working my Conns in Lincoln NC/Russell VA, there
were at least 5 James Conns within horseback ride of each
other about that time: 1) a Rev War vet - see his pension
app 2) one in Lincoln, then Wilkes Co, then back to Linc
in 1826 3) one who went to Abbeville SC with Joseph in
1803 4) son of Wm in Russell, b. ca 1785 and 5) an Irish
Immigrant, b. ca 1780, to Hawkins Co TN and then became
Sheriff of Grainger Co. Can help you with any of them,
but the info is limited. And there's prob more of them!
