I have just discovered my Robert Goodwin's mother's name is Mary Conn. Now I need to find her family. Can anyone out there help me? Mary was born about 1825.
Now usually back then the mother's named their children after relatives so I can tell you the names of her children
in hopes someone will find a connection.
Robert R. (he died in his teens while she was pregnant and when she had the baby a month later she named him Robert-- I thought it was strange to name a baby after your dead son but maybe it's a family thing.)
