Betsy. You did mention that James had a son George W. Does the W. stand for Washington? My sources say that James was born in Ireland in 1799. He moved to PA and married Elinor Bruce. They had a son named Andrew Bruce Conn who would have been my ggg grandfather. He had a brother named George Washington. James had a twin brother, Andrew. Do any of these names sound familiar. However, my grandfather James never lived in Delaware. He remained in Washington County where he married and had his 12 children.
