Searching for information on my great-grandfather Julius CONN b. abt. 1844 possibly in Michigan around Lansing. In abt 1895, he met and married Nancy Middleton who is a descendent of Authur Middleton, the Signer of the Declamation of Independents. I first find Julius on the 1880 Inghram Co. (Lansing City) Michigan census at 36 years old. He is listed with only his two daughters, Lulu M. 12, and Esther 10. Nancy is possibly deceased. Julius in next located on the 1870 Inghram Co. Lansing Michigan census. Here he is listed with his wife, Nancy 24, and daughters, Lulu 2 and Esther 8/12. I am unable to locate him in any earlier census. I do not know his parentage or if there were siblings. I would love to correspond with anyone researching this family or who has seen these names in their search.
