I have no knowledge of Caperton's in my line of Conn's as yet. The Aletha Conn that I have info about is married to a HENDRIX and my Eleanor is married to JAMES M. WINFREY, JR. I am positive about these names. I believe there is a connection, but I believe you have this ancestors much further back than I do. The name ELSON is very prominent in my Conn, Winfrey and Shattuck line's. I believe the ELSON is a family name and connects with the Conns. My grandmother was Elizabeth Elson Winfrey Shattuck. She had a son named George Elson Shattuck,(we called him uncle Elson) and my brother was named John Elson Shattuck. There is also Benjamin Elson Winfrey, the uncle to my grandmother. Thanks for the E-mail. I will be sending you my family file really soon. Still have work to do on it before I send it.

Sharon
