Jeanette--
I was following up on leads for my Gibson and Isaacs family research when I ran across your two postings on the Conn Family Genealogy Forum of 11/13/00. My g-g-g-grandmother Mary Isaacs (b. @1800, TN?.) named one of her sons Robert Conn Isaacs. We do not know Mary's husband's name nor her maiden name, so I decided to follow up on the name "Conn" to see if it could perhaps be Mary's maiden name. When I ran across your two postings they included Isaacs, Conn and Gibson references. Mary Isaacs raised her grandaughter Mary Ann Amelia Gibson (my g-grandmother), apparently after her daughter (first name unknown) died. Mary Ann Amelia Gibson's father was James Gibson of AL. and MS. The migration of my Issacs line runs from TN. to AL. to MS. to OK., and my Gibson line from AL. to MS. to OK. If you see any possibility of a connection here I would appreciate hearing from you.
