This is the first time I have looked for my Conn ancestors. My father was Clifford Conn Heddens, named after his grandfather, whose name I believe to be Joseph Conn. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Conn, born March 29, 1862, who married George Custer Heddens on February 14, 1884, in Indiana, probably Cass County. I have a picture of Mary Elizabeth, called Betty, with her mother and 10 brothers and sisters. The Conn family and the Heddens family moved to North Dakota in the early 1890s. Joseph had died before this move, I think. I have my grandmother's autograph album, which has entries by many of her siblings, mother, friends, and Heddens relatives. She received it in 1882. This is the only written source that I have of any Conn family names. I am very interested to see your information on the Conn family. I think Mary Elizabeth Conn's mother was a Brubaker.
