Hi Sally,
There certainly may be a link in our Conn line's. Josiah Conn did have a daughter named Aleatha/Eleatha and a daughter named Eleanor. I do not have any Caperton's in my line. I do not have any info on Aleatha Conn except for her parents and brothers and sisters. Joseph Conn the son of Josiah Conn certainly could have named his children after members of his family. My 3rd gg grandmother was Eleanor Conn married to James M. Winfrey and 4th great grand parents were Josiah & Minerva Conn.
