Brian: I'll try to help with the Conn Instrument link. The Rev. Hugh Conn of Prince Georges County, Md, a founder of the Presb. Church in the U.S> had several sons, one named George. George married Sarah Issacs. George and Sarah had a son named Richard Issac Conn. He lived in Pittsylvania County, VA. He married Sarah Woodward. Richard Issac and Sarah had a son named William Woodard Conn. He was a pioneer Methodist minister in Coffee County, TN. William Woodard married Hannah Dugan, and they produced Dr. Petway Copeland Conn, my great grandfather. Petway was one of Oklahoma's first state Senators in 1907! Petway married Fannie Lenora Dye. The had several sons including Leslie Dye Conn. "L.D." as he was called founded the famous USC Marching Band and the Conn Instrument Co. in Calif. His daughter, Phoebe Conn is a published author of many rommance novels. Hope this helps. If anyone knows the parents of Rev. Hugh Conn, born abt. 1685 in MacGilligan,Derry, Ireland, please let me know. Terry Conn
