Hi Chad,

My great, great grandmother was Eleanor Minerva Conn b. Dec 11, 1821, d. July 30, 1910 in Camden Co., Misssouri. She married James Madison Winfrey, II on Jan 19, 1837, Pulanski Co., Missouri. Her father was Josiah Conn and mother was Minerva Townsend. Family states that Josiah came to Missouri from Tennessee and he also may have been in Alabama. Josiah Conn was at one time a prize fighter and then a Presbyterian Minister. Eleanor Conn's brother's, Joe Conn and Arch Conn were the first diplomaed Medical Doctors to settle near Bennett Springs, Missouri. Also Josiah Conn served in the War of 1812.

Do you have birth dates, death dates, parentage of Josiah Conn or Minerva Townsend Conn? Your help is greatly appreciated
You can e-mail me at tcurry@the-cia.net.
