Hi Mary,

I believe your CONNs and mine are branches of the same family back in eastern PA/DE/MD/NJ in the early 1700's, but all my searching has produced nothing but scraps which I can't put together into families. CONNs were in all 4 states before the Revolutionary War, so the ones in Chester and Delaware Counties in PA could have come from anywhere.

The websites in those areas have very little useful information. I'm too far away to make a personal visit, and I wouldn't know where to start looking anyway. None of my queries in the area have produced anything except the information that the Cecil Co. MD Gen. Society has a CONN file, but you have to go there to see it.

Maybe we should call it our CONNcrete wall.

Betsy
