I have a Luther Conn in the 1900 Rowan Co census at Pine Grove (ie Cranston). In fact, he was living between two of direct ancestors (A. J. Mabry and Wm Thornberry). The 1900 census data that I have is Luther Conn b May 1878, Rena b Dec 1880 and Evert b Nov 1898.

I believe this Luther is Martin Luther Conn b 19 May 1878 in Rowan and m Serena L. Mabry on 11 Feb 1898 in Rowan. I also believe Martin Luther Conn was the son of Louis K. Conn b 1860 and Mary Elam Reeves. Serena was d/o of A. J. Mabry and Rosanna Caudill.
