Judy - I looked (again) at the British Isles Vital Records Index and there certainly are many CONLONs in that area.
I have thought that "my" Winifred might be the one you identified, daughter of Thomas CONLON and Catherine DOWD. By the way, the Vital Records Index spells the location as Killukin, for what that's worth. (My FRAZERs lived in Aghnafinigan and you ought to see the variations of that one.)
I wouldn't want to claim that Winifred, however, until I can find a marriage record of Winifred and Archibald FRAZER, but I haven't yet located that. While she was Catholic, he was not. Their children were baptised Catholic, but their daughter Jane married Richard FRAZER in the Church of Ireland.
Well, I will keep all the helpful info you have sent me. Winifred just doesn't seem that common, so I do think we have some connection here.
Thanks for you help. Jane
