HI mike
we may have two families here
thomas and ellen conlon came from west drummore sligo

there father was called thomas

ellen married james gallagher in ireland and had owen abt 1864
she then had my gg grandmother catherine gallagher, KATE
I have been told she was born in dewsbry yorkshire but I can not find a birth for her or anything on her only her marriage to john wynn in seaham

If she was born there the family must of gone from ireland to yorkshire first before heading to durham
they are all stated in seaham except kate in the 1871 census

there was also a john conlon as lodger in the 1871 census
in seaham

thomas conlon married a mary henry in seaham I think

I do not no much more as I found it hard to get back any further

all the best from jenny
