I looked up James and Laura in Texas death records and found a little for you:

James Monroe Coneley died 5 Jan 1938 in Iola, Grimes Co., Tx - he is listed as been born on 11 July 1855 in TN and married to Laura. He was a farmer and the informant is E. R. Coneley.

Laura Coneley died 25 Nov 1938 in Iola, Grimes Co., TX where she had lived for 42 years and she is listed as having been born on 15 Mar 1860 in MO. Her mother's madien name is listed as Laura Jane Stillwell and the informant is E. R. Coneley.
