Looking for information to verify and go back further.

George Conklin, wife Caroline Hill both supposedly born in N.Y. about 1834 but I have no idea where.
Children: Alice born in Ill., 1856, Washington born in Ill. 1857, Avery born in Iowa, 1859, may be others.

George Conklin born in N.Y. but I don't know where, wife Annette ?Azeltine born in Canada, but I don't know where. Children: Lulu B. born in Iowa 1883, Lena F. born in Iowa, George 1888, Rodney Clair 1891, both in Iowa.

I am looking for more information on those listed, parents names that are missing etc. I would like to go back further and know what cities in New York my Conklin's came from and what city in Canada Annette Azeltine was born and her parents.
