I tried to send an earlier message but I don't think it went through so I'm trying again. My Conklins came from Potterville and Rome, PA, at least as far as I have been able to trace them. Here is what I know: My grandfather, Albert born 1873, My g-grandfather Heli or Ely born 1834; Heli m. Eunice Brush and had the following children: Nellie, Victor, Fred, Charles, John, Albert B., and Leonard -- all born in Potterville or Rome in the mid 1800s.
Due to the similarites in locations, we may very well have some common ancestors. Heli and Albert, and some other children, moved to Il than on to KS where they homesteaded. Albert later moved to Colo nad opened a general store in Holly.

Let me know if we do have some connections, Thanks Ken in TN
