My Conklin ancestor (Albert B.) migrated from Pottersville (or Pottsvilole) PA in the 1880s to Monticello, IL and married a Bells Squire.
They later moved to Kansas then to Colorado. I need info on Albert's father, Heli or Eli, and his g-father, Levi.
An intersting note is that my g-mother, Belle Squires is a descendant of the Brush family who married one of John Conklyne's daughters in the 1600s. So I may be descended from John Conklyne on two fronts. I heven't yet been able to connect my PA Conklins with the NY or Mass Conklins.
