I am also working on John Conklin b. 1638/9 and Helena whom I think might be his second wife.. his first being Sarah Horton. I am interested in John's son, Nicholaus b. abt. 1661 in Easthampton, L.I. Suffolk Co. N.Y. Nicholas married Sarah Hunt.

I can trace my family correctly back from myself to James Ostrom Conklin b. 1814 m. Rebecca Millard Purdy. I know Debra Thorne is the mother of James and I think his father is Joshua Conklin b. 1776 and d. 1845. However, things get confusing after that and I have two different lines that I am pursing. Can you help me in any way? I am willing to share what I have if I can be of any help to you.
