I have confirmed that my gg-grandfather, DAVID CONKLIN lived his adult life and died in Bergen Co. NY. I know he was born in 1845 but I do not know where. There is a DAVID CONKLIN from Rockland Co. born that year. I am trying to determine if they are one and the same. The Rockland David's father's name was Zephaniah Conklin and Catherine Strickland. I found them on the 1850 census showing David as being 5 yrs old.
