Looking for information on Conklin who came over from Skibbereen, Ireland
and married a Robertson (sorry, I don't know any first names).
They had five children: Richard, Irene, Hanna, Edward and John "Andy" who was born in
1873 and married Mary Garms (GGGrandparents). It is rumoured that the family name was changed
from Coughlin (or a derivation thereof) to Conklin probably during
processing into this country. Conklin settled in Brooklyn NY and after Robertson
died married a Cavanaugh. He died around 1881.
