I, too, am interested in Henry Conklin as I am trying to understand the Conklins of Herkimer, Montgomery and Otsego Counties. I believe you got your info about his parents from the IGI which indicates he was the son of Benjamin & Esther (Hand). I believe this is incorrect, as the children of those parents are well-documented in a number of printed sources. Incidentally, the IGI gives
one more child than you have listed: Sarah b. 1837; d. 1854 in Cass Co., IN I would be very interested in anything you find out about Henry's parents.
