I've always wondered how they happend to settle in Lockport. Hester Mapes had been living in Goshen, Orange Co, N.Y. prior to marriage to Abraham Benjamin Conklin(g). They continued living there and just today saw them again in the 1860 census in Lockport. Beats me, thanks for the info I will file it for later possible connection.Ed
