Seeking the ancestry and family of Mary B. CONKLIN (b. ca. 1787 New York; d. aft. 1845 LaFourche Parish, Louisiana) m. James C. REGAN of Pennsylvania & had issue (all born in New York, save the last child who was born in Louisiana): Jonathan Conklin, James C., William Henry, Aaron Benson, Almira E., Ann Amelia, & Richmond Augustus.
Mary’s middle name could have been Benson. Her mother’s maiden name could also have been BENSON. I know there was a large BENSON family amongst the equally large CONKlIN family in New York.
Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to share whatever information I have collected and would be pleased to have a “cousin” to work with on this family. I wish all a very happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.
