Karen, we may be able to help each other! My grandfather was Elmer Conklin and I believe Barbara was his sister. My father (David Allen Conklin) son of Elmer spoke of Barbara, Ike, Orville, and Frank Conklin. My father was born and raised in Battlecreek and I don't know much of my family history before Elmer.
