Taking another look at your question, I suspect that the John bpt. 5/11/1755 at Kingston, Ulster Co.,son of Ephraim & Hester (Bever), died young. Ephraim & Hester (Bever) had another son, John, bpt. 7/13/1757 at the RDC in Linlithgo, Columbia Co. I also suspect that the William who married Susanna Hand was not the son of either John. Susannah was apparently b. in 1763, suggesting that William would have been pretty much a similar age to John. I still believe, however, that William may be related to John, possibly a brother, although there is no place in which he could logically fit into Ephraim's family. The baptisms of Ephraim's children all march along at two-year intervals..
